There's nothing like a spring snow storm! It's beautiful, yet depressing at the same time. I think everyone wants spring and summer to come as bad as I do! There is something courageous about the flowers still standing strong through all the snow. And by the afternoon...all the snow is gone.
We had Stake Conference this weekend. We were so lucky to hear from Dallin H. Oaks and got to meet him afterward. Spencer was especially excited he got to shake is hand. What a great meeting. And we were lucky enough to get the morning session. It sure makes a HUGE difference with how well the kids act. Our normal block is 1pm, with Sacrament Meeting last...Yuck...it's sooo difficult to be awake at 3pm in the afternoon after already sitting through, (or in my case, keeping kids quiet in Primary), for 2 hours. It was a great day. It's always awesome to hear an apostle speak!

I cannot believe all the snow Utah has had dumped on it this winter! If only ya'll could share a few inches with mississippi. Hopefully spring is on its way soon for you. Dallin H. Oaks, you are so lucky to have him at your stake conference. That is something I really miss about UT, all the amazing church figures that speak so often...On another note, LOVE you "new room"! When we move next, hopefully in the next year or two, we plan to get a king size bed, I can't wait! Enjoy!
I remember how wonderful your little spring flowers always looked. I was always so jealous...and embarrassed about our pitiful yard. Good to know some things never change...on both ends!
I love your picture of the snow and the flowers. You sure have a knack with photography. We really enjoyed Dallin Oaks also. It was so fun to see a side of him we don't see in conference. He has a wonderful sense of humor.
Love ya,
mom G.
I LOVE that picture! I'm jealous that you got to hear Elder Oaks. It's so different seeing them in a normal setting. And yes, I do have a nice little infection...I feel 100 times better today than I did yesterday, though. I'll call you tomorrow!
