So today will be a quick little post about the cutest thing that Ethan said. Over the past couple of days since the boys have been out of school for spring break, I've been telling them that we will dye Easter eggs. They all acted so excited and could not wait. So today, when I finally got around to it, I went outside to get Ethan and told him we were ready to dye the eggs. He came up to me and said, "Mom, why are we going to kill the eggs?" I asked him what he meant. He was so concerned and said, "Why are we going to kill them? They are going to die?" I couldn't help but laugh a little and them helped him understand that it's not that kind of die. It's dye, like paint to put color on the eggs.
Then we sat at the table and "dyed" Easter eggs. When we were done Ethan said, "So that's dying eggs huh. OK. That was fun." What a sweet kid. Ya gotta love him!

That's hilarious! I can totally picture him thinking the whole thing through. So cute!
If making little chickens die for your easter egg pleasure is what you people call fun, than I'm not so sure I want to have fun with your family!!
Just kidding, that's totally something Will would say, and he would have been worrying about it for like 5 days and giving himself an ulcer. Thoughtful children are so entertaining!
