Sadie immediately went for the sand toys and began mixing the sand and water.
Spencer quickly found the dock and started jumping off of it...over and over and over...endless fun.
Ethan was a little nervous and asked for his lifejacket and joined Spencer in the dock jumping. Spencer and Ethan chased around throwing sand and pouncing on each other in the water.
Sadie couldn't get enough of the sand and water. She enjoyed splashing, playing, and building fun things on the beach. And of course she's my little poser...when I tell her to smile, she naturally does some cute pose...
While having a teasing big brother isn't my favorite, (sorry Nate...you did tease me relentlessly) this particular tease was super funny and caught on camera...so I must share.
Sadie was just sitting in the water playing away, having a great time. Well sneaky Spencer was ever so slowly creeping up behind Sadie...and then just at the right moment, "BOO!" Poor Sadie scared out of her mind and Spencer is laughing his guts out.
If you look closely you can see Sadie getting upset, pouting afterward and then turning around to splash him back! That's my girl! Get him!
I decided to join in the beach fun and help Ethan and Sadie build a sand castle. The sand was perfect for building.
What a fun day at the beach! We could have stayed for hours, but the beauty is we didn't feel like we had to.....since it's so close, we could come back the next day!
So California eat your heart out! Utah beach Rocks! Well...that is until October rolls around and it's frozen over....but until then...Beach party!

holy cow...that looks like so much fun. we should do that on a summer visit sometime. Where is that?
How fun! I've never been there, and I have family that live in Daybreak. What's wrong with me? Actually, Will has been canoeing there, and loved it. Maybe I'll have to venture out there. (I'll have to pack a lunch of course, since it's SOOOO far away!!)
We've been there several times this summer. For this California girl, it's a little piece of heaven! And there are no scary waves, so the kids will actually play in the water. I love it!
I love that beach too! It's so much fun! You've captured some great pictures!
