As I've been driving around running kids to doctors appointments and doing various errands, I've been enjoying the AMAZING colors that are everywhere.
Aren't they beautiful?
I feel like stopping at every tree to take a picture. I realize that's not feasible, so I keep driving. But what an amazing autumn we are having this year! I love the bright reds, yellows, and oranges, with a few greens here and there.
I can't help but think how blessed we are to have such a beautiful world to live in!
It reminds me of that primary songMy Heavenly Father Loves me....
Whenever I hear the song of a bird, or look at the blue, blue sky.
Whenever feel the rain on my face, or the wind as it rushes by.
Whenever I touch a velvet rose, or walk by a lilac tree;
I'm glad that I live in this beautiful world,
Heavenly Father created for me.
He gave me my eyes that I might see, the color of butterfly wings.
He gave me my life, my mind, my heart;
I thank Him reverently.
For all His creations of which I'm a part;
Yes I know Heavenly Father loves me.
Heavenly Father must really love us! What beauty!
As we're driving I slow down and the kids ask me, "Mom why are you going so slow?" I tell them, "I'm enjoying these amazing colors!"
So drive a little slower! Enjoy these great colors while they last! You know it won't be much longer until the leaves fall and the snow and cold hit hard. Enjoy it while you can!
I had to include these cute pictures from a recent photo shoot. The colors are just so remarkable!

Those look great Erin! Your photography is just so beautiful. And I'm loving the more candid ones on your website. I think I like those WAY more than posed ones. They are just looking so darn professional!
And again...if Garners had money...we'd be there for a little photo session. There's nothing I love more than a photo shoot. I'll let you know when that money tree we planted in the backyard starts producing!!
Fantastico colors and pictures. I will say there are only a handfull of things I like about fall. I don't hate fall I just hate to see summer end. I love the trees changing colors, I love the crisp air, I love carving pumpkins and pumpkin pie, and I love no longer having to do yard work. Your photos are gorgeous.
WHOA, those are awsome, Erin. We ARE so blessed to have such beauties around us. Thanks for reminding us ! ! !
I do love fall and all the colors too! I wish we could just have an extended fall and then go straight into spring! Winter makes me nervous. Those pictures you took are amazing...you're right the colors are incredible and breathtaking!
I need to open my eyes more! I haven't noticed all the beautiful colors...if I don't hurry and look, they won't be there! I do love fall! And those pictures are amazing!
AAAAAHHHHH. It is all so beautiful and makes me cry to be in UT with those dazzling colors. Autumn lasts about 1 week here around Thanksgiving and it is devoid or the stunning colors. Soak it all up for me and I will just leave your pictures on my screen for the whole day so that I can enjoy them too...
If you want a cool photo pose idea, I'll tell ya what I did today. I BOUGHT some colored leaves and sprinkled them on the ground, put my kids in black turtle necks (which they hated) and had them lie down on the leaves with their heads together. I stood on a chair and took a picture looking down on them and WOW it turned out really stunning. I'll post it soon. Absolutely Christmas Card material. The black/leaves combo really made their angelic faces "pop". I think it's even "blow it up big and hang it on the wall worthy"!
wow! Thank you for that. You said it best with the primary song. I LOVE fall!
Seriously Erin, would you quit being so darn talented with your camera! You're making the rest of us look bad! But I love looking at all the pics you take.
Wow!! Amazing Pictures!! Thanks for reminding me to slow down and admire our beautiful world!
