Congratulations Danielle!

So it's been a week of milestones in my family....


Brittany having her first baby and now the baby of the family graduating from college! Way to go Danielle!


On Friday, Danielle received her Bachelor in Exercise Science from BYU! A lot of hard work Danielle! I'm proud of you!


Larena, Mom, Dad and I went to her commencement services on Friday. It was fun to see little Danielle walking with the hundreds of others who have completed their degrees.


I'm not sure what it is about moments like that...but they always make me cry. I always get a big lump in my throat and a tear in my eye on certain occasions. Not like a full blown ugly cry, just a little glisten. Here's a few examples...


When I go to the airport. I don't know why, but every time I go, I get that burst of emotion. It doesn't matter if I'm traveling, or coming to pick someone up...When I go inside...tears. Weird.


When I get to the gates of an amusement park...Lagoon, Disneyland, etc. For some reason as soon as I walk through the gates...tears. Weird.


Dance or piano recitals. Whenever I was in a recital or whenever I have attended one, as soon as I see the person I'm there to see....tears. Weird!



Those are the only ones I can think up right now...but I'm sure there's more. I just think it's kind of crazy!


I don't even think Matt know that about me. I try to just keep it to myself, but I just think it's funny that I do that.

So little sister..way to go...

now what?

Well...she's off to nursing school. To the "Lord's School" (Matt likes to call it) the University of Utah. Danielle was accepted into their accelerated nursing program starting in May. So if she can handle it, she'll have her RN in a little over 1 year! It's a lot of work around the clock, but Danielle is one smart cookie, she'll be fine.
